The Ultimate Degreaser For Your Sparkling Clean Kitchen Counter

An effective solution to tackle grease on the kitchen counter is here.

We love our kitchen!

The kitchen is a laboratory. It’s biology, chemistry, physics.

Yes, there’s history. Yes, there’s artistry. Yes, to all of that.

 – Alton Brown

The kitchen is the most creative and buzzing space in restaurants and catering businesses. Stocked with tools, utilities, and ingredients, it is an outlet for chefs’ imagination and the source of customers’ delight.

When it comes to peak times, this site is the busiest area in these businesses. In the same breath, it can be dirty due to accumulation of grease. No one likes being in a kitchen whose countertops, sinks, and other work areas are greasy.

Not only are greasy surfaces gross, but they are also smelly and distracting. Moreover, grease is a source of food contamination in restaurants and reduces the life of appliances and other assets.

Why do kitchens become greasy in the first place?

The oil from cooking wares on stoves has no other place to spill except the kitchen counters, walls and chimney hoppers. While we are busy cooking food, the small droplets of oil spit up into the air, these droplets float in the air. This process is known as aerosolization.

Once the cooking oil has aerosolized, it will stick to any surface. These grease aerosols need a surface to settle. And, the closest surface for them would be a kitchen counter. No matter how prim and prom your cooking is, your kitchen is inevitably going to get greasy.

So, how can you get rid of this bane? How can you get back to that spotlessly clean kitchen again?
The answer to these questions is a single sentence — Get a speciality degreaser!

How does a Degreaser help?

A kitchen degreaser can solve your tough kitchen cleaning problems. But what if you already have a kitchen cleaner, do you still need a degreaser?

There is a significant difference between regular cleaners and degreasers. Degreaser is a subset of cleaners. All degreasers are cleaners, but all cleaners are not degreasers.

Cleaning chemicals are acidic, alkaline, or neutral. Grease comes from something living; it is organic soil. It is best to remove these tough kitchen messes with alkaline solutions, as these agents can easily break down fats, oils, and proteins found in cooking residue.

Often, speciality degreasers contain additional ingredients to cut through the heavy build-up of grease easily.

Are there types of Degreasers?

You could either make your degreaser or use a professional and effective degreaser from the market. Some food outlets and catering businesses prefer using pantry ingredients to make a degreaser — Vinegar, baking soda, and water.

At times, this DIY degreaser either fails to remove the grease from your kitchen tops or takes a lot of your precious time. In contrast, a speciality degreaser gets rid of the grease quickly, enabling you to focus on what you do best — preparing your delicacies and delighting your customers.

And, when it comes to a speciality degreaser, what better than Sumabrite Degreaser and Heavy Duty Cleaner.
